She works diligently to build relationships with everyone she meets, realizing that clients have individual needs and deserve an excellent experience in professional, friendly service. As our Client Service Manager at Financial T.I.P.S., our clients are her first priority.

Cassandra graduated from Scottsburg Senior High School with an Academic Honors Diploma and later obtained an Associates of Applied Science in Business Management from Ivy Tech Community College. She is a local business owner herself. She values good business sense and understands the importance of providing a superior experience to the client. Her education, experiences and

personality are a perfect fit to our team.

A California native, Cassandra has lived in Indiana for most of her life. She is a follower of Christ with strong faith, rich character and a positive attitude. She is also the mother to three children; Adam, Gabriel and Noah with whom she spends most of her free time. In addition to her career at T.I.P.S., Cassandra is a lifestyle photographer. Her unique ability to capture and freeze life's greatest moments as art has awarded her with the success of creating a local business out of her passion; Refined Reflections Photography.

In between the lines of careers, Cassandra primarily enjoys family and friendships. She is a creative soul captivated by art as well as a free spirit that finds joy and peace in being outdoors, traveling and visiting new places, near or far, or simply relaxing with a cup of coffee and a good book.

Trina Hanner became passionate about business and finance in high school. She completed several college courses during high school, allowing her to graduate with a B.S. in Business (accounting emphasis) from Indiana University after only three years. She began pursuing her dream of coaching others in financial matters and after obtaining much-valued experience with three accounting and financial planning firms, she opened her own practice, FINANCIAL T.I.P.S., in 2002. Trina advises individuals and businesses in the area of tax planning. She also offers financial planning and investment advice as an Investment Advisor Representative with United Planners.

Trina has since obtained her Master’s of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning and recently fulfilled the rigorous requirements to call herself a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP ®) practitioner. When asked what is most exciting about her career, Trina often says, “When I am speaking with someone and see the light come on!” (thus the light bulb in the logo). Whether working with a group or individual, she loves to assist others using her years of experience and breadth of knowledge. In fact, the slogan of her business is “We help build your future so you can focus on living!”

Trina is a Lawrence county native who has lived with her husband, Doug Hanner, in Northwestern Jackson County for 20 years. When Trina is out of the office, she enjoys playing music with her husband and two children, Abby and Emmitt. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her horses on the fourth generation family farm.
